I won't post links, but search for interviews and information about a one Issei Sagawa. That should answer some questions on taste.I heard a cannibal guy say it tastes the same as roast pork when it's roasted, and i'm damn hungry.
I hope some farmer gets a load of her barbecued meat and feeds it to his chickens.

Well, it would probably be far more expensive, as no humans will be willing ot give themselves up for something like that, so people to get leather from would be very rare, and only a few could be made. Then, there would be the human rights groups.Enforcer Talen wrote:how much would human leathr trenchcoat cost? cow leather is 250. . .

As for the looks, I'm sure they could be made to look good.

Am I the only one who thinks it might be a good idea to try putting her through that depolymerization plant?

Hmm... I wonder what you feed people in order to get the most meat off of them... Maybe you just make them protein-load and lift weights.
Someone get an industrial-sized blender and a truckload of MetRx. We're gonna make us some PETAburgers.
And is anyone else reminded of Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs?

Depends on the woman's skin color. If she were caucasian, I really couldn't see such light skin looking terribly attractive. It's true that during the tanning process (depending on the process) the skin darkens to some extent (enough to remove some blemishes and freckles). If she were African, it might look pretty good. I'm a fan of darker "bomber-jacket" leather.Enforcer Talen wrote:how much would human leathr trenchcoat cost? cow leather is 250. . .

As for the price, considering it would be the only one made, it would sell for millions. It's the rarest leather in the world, and according to Ed Gein, it's some of the best.
If human-skin jackets were produced en masse, then they'd probably still be quite expensive. I'd put the premium uncut leather itself between $5k and $8k American. The best uncut minks go for that much. And then you have to choose the lining, which can run you anywhere from $100 - $2000, depending on the material. Add tailor's fees. So, if the leather is anywhere as good quality as Mr. Gein seems to think, you're looking at a jacket anywhere between $5.5k and $10k.
Not cheap.

Maybe in future people could have similar stuff to this in their after-death arrangements, they could pay off some of the debts they leave or give the kids some more inheritance money!
