O HELL YEAH!!! "The Beast" is a great ride, one of the best wooden coasters around. Another good one is the "Cornball Express" at Indiana Beach, it has a killer opening drop that goes near verticle with a twist at the bottom :D

However my absolute favorite is "The Demon" at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee Ill. Its considered tame as it is almost 20years old, but its such a classic and I still go on it four or five time whernever we go to Six Flags

Top Gun at Great America.

Tower of Terror was pretty cool though.

There is only one Rollercoaster in Northern Ireland, I shitty death trap in a arcade called Barry's of Portrush. The ride costs a fiver to get on and lasts a grand total of 1:30. I havent had a over seas holiday in my life and if i did i'd go to Amsterdam for the bitches, bongs and beer. I'm not a fan of rides like that anyway, i prefer the dodgems where i can give 12yo's whiplash

I like Top Gun, the Demon and the Grizzley (all at Great America)

Closer to home, the Vampire is an oldie but a goodie (Chessington World of Adventure, nee Chessington Zoo)

My favourites are:

The Hulk at Universal: Islands of Adventure - mainly because of the acceleraton at the start.
The Kumba: Busch (sp) Gardens Florida - Because once i went on it and at a part where it slows down the guy in front of me went " oh thank Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood" when it suddenly speeded up again. Laughed at that all day!
The Nemisis: Alton Towers - Kumba's little brother, very short but still fun.
The Rat: Lightwater Valley - Undergorund, dark, fast and cool!
Tower of Terror: MGM Studios : As people mentioned before : 13 ... STOREY ... DROP!

Ahhhh, what a great ride. *sighs wistfully*
we must get together sometime. Id love to spend a day doing tower of terror.

Ahh, sounds like a grand idea! I'd love to just do that ride over and over and over again. Mmmm, service elevators plummeting to the ground...what a great idea for a ride! *grins*
