I'm not sure about my copy of Final Fantasy, but I know my copy of Megaman 1 is worth more than a working NES to play it on(which I have two of)

Let me think.

SMB 1-3, Castlevania 1-3, Duck Hunt, Zelda, Blaster Master, and a few more (though they're not exactly classics).

Too many. All of the Mario games, all of the Zelda games, Ninja Gaiden 1 and 3, Metroid, River City Ransom, Mega Man 1-3, Guardian Legend, Crystalis, Blaster Master, Rad Racer... these were just the "top-tier" titles. I'm surprised I had time for anything back then with the size of my NES game collection. Unfortunately, my NES died two years ago (busted loading port), but the cartidges are still in good condition; I've been trying to get a hold of a top-loading version since. In some ways, I really miss the 80s.

SMB/Duck Hunt, SMB 2, SMB 3, Final Fantasy, Startropics, Battletoads, Zelda 2, off the top of my head.

Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3, Dr. Mario, and Jeopardy. I didn't have many NES games, as you can see, but I didn't mind.

That was what TMNT was called in some parts of the world. Apparently, using the word "ninja" was considered a corrupting influence.

Yep, i always found that weird. Still we in england are all over that stupid faze of censoring the word "ninja" now. Since then we have had Ninja power rangers and a soon to be new Teenage mutent NINJA turtles cartoon

I have but one NES game, and it's a ROM. The game is the nigh-impossible "Godzilla, Monster of Monsters". The only game where the military kills the big G on a daily basis!

so youve noticed that too, huh? ive always wondered how i could sit down and beat a new release game in the matter of hours...but it would take days if not weeks or even months to complete a game back in the 8 and 16 bit days.

how much are you wantin for that copy of TMNT...heh heh heh

Holy crap, there's so many. The obvious ones like the Mario series, Zelda series, Mega Man series, TMNT series (yes, all three), Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior (1-3, haven't had the chance to snag IV, it's rare, apparently), Bomberman, the Castlevania series, Metroid, Contra, Metal Gear (and Snake's Revenge, but we're only counting the greats, and that's definitely one of the worst), Rad Racer 1 and 2, shit, there's so many. Oooh, I can't forget Paperboy, Excitebike, Cyber Base Wars, and the best hockey game ever, IMHO, Blades of Steel!
