GAAAHHHH!
Ok, a little dawg, filthy, hungry, very thirsty came up to the house today. He's adorable, calm and gets along with our dog. But we really can't afford upkeep for two dogs.
What would you do??? I've called ASPCA and they've directed me to animal control. Haven't called yet. Advice, please......

Can you drive him down to the Humane Society and drop him off?Frank Hipper wrote:GAAAHHHH!

Really the only option. Taking in a dog of the street even if it's not already strain of your budget rapidly can be if it has health problems.Darth Wong wrote: Can you drive him down to the Humane Society and drop him off?

I do believe I've found an adoptive family. He followed them home from our place, and they seem very responsible, and the kids love him to death! As do mom and dad. Found out he could possibly come from someone local, left a note on their door. Either or, seems like things may take care of themselves, and if not, off to the animal shelter, but I WILL NOT let this cute little guy be put to sleep, though! Finances will adjust themselves, one way or another.Durran Korr wrote:If you can, try and find a family that wants him. Put up "Found Dog" flyers.
