There's been rumors I've heard about it, but this is the first proof I've seen that it is acutally in development. I hope it's not just a shitty Age of Empires rip-off.

While those screen shots do look a lot like War3 turned high res, I doubt the similarities will be all that great. Hopeful this thing wont end up massively delayed. I doubt it will get canceled though, not with a third movie coming to stir up even more interest in LOTR.
