I can't STAND the fucking popup manager they built in to 1.3. I don't want to have to allow popups for specific sites... *sigh*

They're going to be switching the main Mozilla trunk over to Phoenix, as they realize they've screwed the 1.3 trunk too much. Even Phoenix has the lame-ass popup manager, though...

Yeah, Mozilla 1.3 has some issues with it losing the stylesheet (requiring a cache deletion).

I find that Phoenix works better since it alerts you with an icon on the bottom, at least (I didn't notice it before).

That explains why it should just freeze but that doesnt really explain why a "ping" command wouldnt work(happen earlier several times. the forums stopped responding, and I couldtn ping the site (kept timingout)).
