I think it's more the sheer size of his current version, that's just too big and if he posted a few times in thread it would be distracting. But the smaller one should be fine, and I have to say I hardly notice the Ninja vanish (it's cycle time isn't that fast after all).Kelly Antilles wrote:It's not offensive to me, but it is fucking annoying. If you're trying to read, just like for men in real life, her boobs are quite distracting. So's aphex's ninja vanish. It is better NOT to have animated images in sigs AT ALL.

It's annoying and it is potentially offensive. But the problem with it is it's too freakin' big. Shrink the size down to something near avatar sized and it solve most of the problems.
I don't know about offensive, Shep's even more tasteless avatar was allowed to stay so I don't think that's a problem unless a lot of people are really offended.

Already provided - whether he uses it is up to him.Stormbringer wrote:It's annoying and it is potentially offensive. But the problem with it is it's too freakin' big. Shrink the size down to something near avatar sized and it solve most of the problems.

Well I can play with the timing cycle a bit in the edit I did, and yes I have 20/20 vision (or as the Army PULHHEEMS test places it 1,1 )Kelly Antilles wrote:But Rob.... the boobies bounce MUCH faster than the ninja vanishes. You obviously have 20/20 vision.

Here's the slowed version (180ms per frame rather than the originals 100ms - any slower and it looks retarded)Rob Wilson wrote:Well I can play with the timing cycle a bit in the edit I did, and yes I have 20/20 vision (or as the Army PULHHEEMS test places it 1,1 )Kelly Antilles wrote:But Rob.... the boobies bounce MUCH faster than the ninja vanishes. Rob, the version on the first page was better.
Anyway, while I think it's really cute (I have all the colour variations on my hard drive), the problem is that it's pretty distracting and kind of annoying due to it's size and movement.
Oh, and Talen: Yes, it's obvious she's naked.

I think it's mostly the size that people are complaining about, although there may be some prudishness as well.
Mind you, we would be hypocrites if we allowed this but then refused to allow Einy to post a similar animated GIF of a guy with a huge bulge in his pants, so keep that in mind.

hey don't do that, we need our Bounce.Dargos wrote:Ok...gone it is
You have a smaller one made available and it even comes in two speeds for you to chose from. Go on, you know you want to put the Bounce back in life.

Care to only run one of each, or put it on your own URLs Bandwidth?Ted wrote:Check my sig for the best of the best.
ADDENDUM : Well 3 is better than 6, at least.

You didn't have to remove them all, I just objected to using six without asking (remember they go to all your posts currently being read. That's a lot of Bandwidth without permission.) It's more the using without permission or the common courtesy of asking than anything else.Ted wrote:It was just a test to show what it would look like.
Gonna take 'em off now.
Edit:
They're gone.
Anyway, if Dargos doesn't use one, I take it you'll want to.

6 was a lot, which is why I then put it down to 3, but 14x3x3500 is a lot of kb being taken up. So I cut 'em.Rob Wilson wrote:You didn't have to remove them all, I just objected to using six without asking (remember they go to all your posts currently being read.
