Quick STGOD question

Considering my Empire is mercenary, the use of my ships are mainly for raids, and their identity is not to be revealed as my empire is weak, how am I or anyone who is using my forces going to be able to role-play my ships without it being painfully obvious that my ships are involved?

Like honoring the threat a certain amount of cooperation from other players is required along with moderator intervention if necessary. However you'll also going to have make efforts to conceal your action, like having your ships transit slowly because they need to take evasive routes to and from there bases.
