I finally found a classical station! *huge grin*

Post by Kuja »

I listen to the radio while I'm driving (well, duh) and I listen to a wide variety of music. But one thing that kept bugging me was that I could never find a station that played classical music.

Well, driving home from work, I found one by accident. I wasn't paying attention to which button I was hitting, and I stumbled across 94.5, which was playing a good symphonic piece. I listened to it all the way home.

Yay.

Good to hear, I remember when I first found a classical station, I was very happy, granted I didn't have a radio, so it led to a lot in car arguing with my parents.

More like thirty or forty, or maybe more. Buffalo is situated just perfectly to recieve radoi broadcasts from much of WNY, Toronto, and even a couple from Erie, Pennsylvania (on occasion), and I can get all of them on my radio. Not all of them are clear, but I do recieve them.

If you get Toronto, then you might be able to get CBC Radio 2, which is usually classical.

Here in the Chicago area, we have 98.7 WFMT. Good station, except when they have a beg-a-thon.

95.5, WPGC, baby!!

Love it, except for the snooty British radio announcer who comes on in the afternoons. She's just bloody annoying. The music and the other announcers kick ass, though. :D

91.7 FM KSUI here in CR/IC.

Although Utsanomiko and I usually listen to the local jazz station, 88.3 FM KCCK, when we're on our little car trips.

Around here there are two, 90.1 and 90.5. Unfortunately, someone decided that three Christian stations are not enough, so they put one at 90.3, which usually interferes with the two decent stations. Yet another reason to hate fundamentalists.

Sydney Australia has 2... 92.9 and 102.5

92.9 is Government funded so don't advertise any, and have live broardcasts from the Sydney Opera House every few nights or so, and the other one isn't government funded and asks for donations all the time, and puts adverts on all the time.

I listen to 92.9 <g>
