Anybody planing to play this one? Looks like a nice space based

I beta'ed it. Damn...it's huge. So huge, in fact, that it overwhelmed me and I stopped. SWG is smaller than that, and I find that I'm more "familiar" with it while playing it than EVE. But I like EVE too. Oh, and EVE is space-based, while SWG is more land based, even though there will be a space-based expansion pack for SWG in the far future.

NDA has been lifted. A guy I know made a mass posting of pics.

May 5th is "Armageddon Day" on the servers. All characters get a shitload of cash and the best battleships there are, to celebrate the ending of the beta. Heh, in anticipation, I'm downloading the latest build of the game now, v974.

You are correct, the game is truely excellent. If there was a game that would make me reverse my position on subscription based games, EVE would probably be it. The game is overwhelming.

That being said, I doubt that I'd have enough time to truely give the full release justice.
