That doesn't tend to work. They usually go, "you're reading it wrong." Or "you're twisting the words." Or other crap like that.

It's not a matter of being right or wrong; it is a matter of ACCURACY. As in "Science has excellent accuracy, particularly in the physical sciences, while the Bible has horrible accuracy". Otherwise you get the Golden Mean fallacy, in which they say that science is just as wrong as the Bible, and that's just not true.

Well, after pretty much everything, everybody, already said, I might add my 2 cents.

For certain, there are 3 Laws one can't go against for the next millenia, the Thermodynamic Laws. They are a given, and one can't circumvent, or alter, them, except locally, of course.
Also, the 3 laws of Newton will stay with us for a long, long, time... No matter how much relativity we put in the middle, bellow c everything is Newton.
Lastly, Maxwell's Equations are still very true, and will be for a long time, as long as electrons and phtotons exist.

(The part where I talk about fringe science is missing, since I don't have the time right now, more on this latter...)

Here's a law that might be changed.

The idea that time is linear.

After all,it has been suggested that a way to link Thermodynamics with Newton laws{how newton laws are reversible whereas Thermodynamics are not} will be to change the idea that time is non-linear. :o
