I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Animation International, which sells rights for Robocon and worked with Coca-Cola on the toys, says the symbols were designed by the creator and "did not have anything to do with any organisation or religion."

What's even dumber is that they didn't even bother to do their research. The original Buddhist swastika, fine. The corrupted one that they put on their robots? I hope someone got fired for that sheer lack of research.

Pointless Trivia: In radio comms it is "say again" that is used to repeat a transmission, repeat is only used for artillery.

Ah, I see Coke has returned to putting swastikas on their products (Didn't they have ads featuring the symbol before Hitler's rise to power?). And judging by the whole decision itself, they probably put cocaine back into the drink.

Tibetan swastikas often are the same as the more familiar NSDAP version. Just a nitpick, and CERTAINLY no excuse for this...bafoons, I mean, what WERE they thinking??????

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen, including the topless blond out at the swimming pool this morning. But, like the topless blond, some stupid things are fun to stare at.

You know what's weirder? not one or two clicks away I found THIS

http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_77 ... ld.sexlife
An elderly couple have been arrested in the US for allegedly performing a sex act in a booth at a fast food restaurant.

The 70-year-old man and 59-year-old woman have also been banned from Hardee's restaurant in New Philadelphia.

Police charged both with public indecency after receiving complaints from restaurant employees and a customer.

Traffic Officer Shawn Nelson told the Times Reporter that police had received previous reports about the same two people allegedly performing lurid acts in the parking lot, or inside the restaurant.

However, he said, this was the first time they had still been at the restaurant by the time officers arrived.

"The restaurant handled this absolutely perfect. I applaud them. Absolutely, they're a victim of this as much as the public is, and they handled it appropriately," Nelson said.

 Every day, the world gets more and more surreal. I can't imagine what the hell they were thinking when this went through.

Executive: We're losing business to those damn Hess people and their toy trucks!
Executive 2: No we're not, we're in an entirely different field.
Exec1: We still need something to compensate for these losses. Quick! Let's bundle a cheesy robot toy with every purchase of six cokes! Those caffeine addicted little freaks'll eat 'em up like sweet, sweet sugar.
Eccentric Old CEO: I like the way you think. Let's give it swastika nipples while you're at it. And when you die, you will inherit my throne.
All execs: What?
CEO: *Cackles insanely to self and detonates top floor of office*

And the only thing that survived the explosion was some notes and a little concept doodle of the Swastika-bot, which was built in memory. And that's why stupid things happen.
