Ya know, this 'rapture' thing is kind of a funny opportunity.

All the Christians think that someday, sometime, without warning, all the 'faithful' are going to spontaneously vanish from the earth without warning and without a trace.

Imaging what an unscrupulous X-Files style military group could do with THAT knowledge.

I'm all for the Rapture. The Faithful will ascend, and leave their stuff behind. Granted, the current power structure will cause this to render the USA a wasteland, but it'll be fun. Really.

The thing that scares me is that Chick's "trustworthy Christian" guy here looks like a star from a bad porno.

Jack's best work is years behind him. I get the feeling that this one is one of his anti-Catholic rants (that thread seems to take up the largest number of pages), but he's gotten so incoherent that the message is getting lost (BTW, Biblically speaking, the Catholic Church can't possibly be the Whore of Babylon). I wonder if he has Alzheimer's Disease or some other infirmity of the brain.

Seriously though, those things are a riot, and they do sometimes contain interesting tidbits of truth among all of the bullshit.

It's knowing the difference between the BS and what's true that's the challenge when reading one.
