Olrik, don't make the mistake of assuming that in 49 out of 50 states in the Union (Georgia apparently excluded), such behavior would ultimately result in the same consequences: mass firings, temporary school closings, and massive legal battles. There's still no proof that this "Whites Only Prom" issue won't disintegrate into the same. I smell a state or civil suit coming in the next few weeks - almost guaranteed.

A "no-Jews" or "no-blacks" prom in my area would result in mass protests if not outright violence. And I say that living in New York. I'm almost positive the same thing would occur everywhere but the most stereotypical points in the Deep South (if then).

The thing is it's a privately organized prom. It's legal no matter how immoral and stupid.

Precisely. The white kids are being taught that segregation and keeping those dirty niggers away from their fine white women is perfectly acceptable and is, in fact, to be expected. The poor black kids are being taught that they're second-class citizens in the eyes of society. This is inconceivable. If I saw it happen near me, I would ask if it was some kind of joke, and then start beating the stupid racist kids to a pulp. I don't understand the mentality of this kind of people. And I'm from a country where we have a very mixed population, due to large amounts of emmigrants from the excolonies who keep trying their luck in the E.U.

I do care if you do stuff in private like having white's only proms, but there is really nothing I can do about it. We cannot force these people to adhere to our forms of morality within their residence if they aren't objectively hurting anyone. The best thing we can do is shine the lights and cameras on them, and let the world know they are fucking racist donkey fuckers. I'm sure some protest work involving the burning of Confederate flags outside their little white pow-wow will show them that even though we may have to tolerate their shit, we certainly will not accept it.

What really drives me crazy is that shit like this happens, but when someone points a finger and says that there be racists in Georgia, some Southerner will get all up in a huff and scream that we're just as intolerant as the racists for "daring to point fingers and get all judgemental and stuff".
