spike's going through the list of toxins on the Bebop's computer and freezes on one for a fraction of a second (It the mirror image of what he's looking at), and he bypasses it as "Not a match"
It's also a little mutated itself. Remember Ed says something about a certain part being mutated.

Most likely it wasn't a fatal illness and they did get either picked up and treated or simply got better on their own. Either one works with the series.

That's my favourite session! Well, my favourite happy one, anyway.

I still love Ed just up and eating the thing.

No anything, just eating it because she thought it was pudding.

A tasty spring roll she says.

I like how Ein is caught out too and Spike goes how he should use his animal instincts.

And of course, don't make kebabs with a flamethrower.

That is the lesson.

But they have so much fun while doing so! I love the song Ed sings, and when she rolls over in mid-air from her nap, sees the thing, mumbles, "Mmmmm, more pudding" and then chomps it down. Plus Spike looks so sexy when he tries to light his cigarette with his flamethrower--mmmmm, definitely a happy episode.

I'm not sure how a lobster could mutate, but does anyone here think that some bacteria could've gotten in and eaten off the lobster to infect that much of the fridge's space?

And infrared anime... 8)
