Summer Movie-Going
Anyone else planning for a long summer of movie-going? There's all these great flicks that are going to be releashed in the next couple of weeks/months that I'm just dying to see, including:
Matrix: Reloaded Duh, its the Matrix.
Matrix: Revoltuions Duh, its the Matrix.
The Incredible Hulk More super-hero madness at its best.
Terminator 3 I have bad feelings it'll suck, but I can't be sure of it.
The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen Long live Sean Connery!
What about the rest of you? Anything else you plan on seeing?

Leader of the Secret Gnome Revolution
The Matrix: Revolutions is November.
I'd like to catch the Cowboy Bebop movie in a theatre, but its nowhere to be found within the South. Other than what you listed, there is X2 (which I've not yet seen), Bad Boys 2, Bruce Almighty (HUGE Jim Carrey fan), and others I can't name right now.

BoTM / JL / MM / HAB / VRWC / Horseman
I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Van Helsing is coming out soon, and that looks cool. Finding Nemo should be cool; I'm a Pixar fan.
28 Days Later looks awesome, have any of you Europeans seen it yet?
Oh, and Pirates of the Caribbean is coming out, too.

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

If by soon, you mean Spring 2004 for Van Helsing.Robert Treder wrote:Van Helsing is coming out soon, and that looks cool. Finding Nemo should be cool; I'm a Pixar fan.

28 Days Later is okay, not what I expected, but a fairly good horror flick to revitalise the genre after Romero. It is dark though and eery. Saw that last November, thought the US release was in January?
Finding Nemo looks cute.

Well, with Matrix Revolutions and RotK, there's a bridge between the summer and spring, so it's a solid block of moviegoing.Admiral Valdemar wrote:If by soon, you mean Spring 2004 for Van Helsing.Robert Treder wrote:Van Helsing is coming out soon, and that looks cool. And 28DL was at Sundance in the US in January, but it's general release here is in June.

28 Days Later is one of the best films I've seen in the last year, second only to The Two Towers. It's also the scariedt film since Dog Soldiers. Yes, the plot is just Day of the Triffids with zombies, but it's bloody excellent nevertheless.

Uh, does that mean it's scary? Because I didn't think Dog Soldiers was very scary.innerbrat wrote:28 Days Later is one of the best films I've seen in the last year, second only to The Two Towers. Dog Soldiers wasn't scary (though it had its moments for jumps), it was kick ass that's what it was.neoolong wrote:Uh, does that mean it's scary? 28DL is scary depending on how easy you are to scare, for me, it wasn't very, but then The Ring, Blair Witch and numerous other "scary" films lately never got more than a snicker from me.
