The girl ignored him when he asked for her to come over to the officer. Then she cursed him. And then she threatened him, in the face of repeated warnings that she was going to get tagged by the spray. Anyone who would actually try to put up a fight against a man with a can of pepper spray and a gun is obviously asking for trouble.

She got exactly what she deserved.

She got what she deserved, or maybe not, since that cop likely taught her a lesson, she might actually use that grey matter of hers and not getting run over by a mac truck or something.

Sounds like kids have become even more stupid in Ft. Lauderdale than when I lived there. Yes, the cop did the right thing. Unfortunately, I fear the girl will have learned nothing but more disrespect and belligerence.
