No. Froyts are not self aware. If they were smarter, they'd attack their reflection, if they saw it. As is, they aren't smart enough to do anything except what a Raian tells them to do. The Raian telepathically plants impulses in the Froyt's brain. Froyts are too stupid too understand speech.

If that is the case...then we do not object.

Me being the Minister of Sin has no bearing n this case...I subscribe to a system of ethics silmilar to Earths "secular humanism" and so does my entire race. Some of outr ethics go counter to those of a religious people...

The Kokand Empire must ask for clarification regarding this treaty and conscription.

Conscripts get paid, correct? And they have a fixed term of service correct? So therefore they are not slaves.

Term of service is dependent on health. However our conscription system and indeed any other could easily be considered to violate the first part.
1. Forced and involuntary servitude of a sentient species.

It is a bit redundant. I'd be willing to change it to "Forced and unpaid or otherwise unrewarded servitude of a sentient species." Is that OK?

The PIR has no problem with this since all of it's conscripts are eager to serve
