We'll see. I liked the original, and this has the potential to be better because of one simple fact:

I'm no longer fighting to save Janeway.

This one seems a hell of a lot harder than the first one, just judging by the demos for each. The weapons of choice seem somewhat...weak, as well. The shotgun and submachinegun style weapons seem like the only really viable choices, and even then they seem pretty weak. The hand phaser is only saved by its unlimited ammo. The Grenade launcher...meh. The weird lightning zappy thing seems terrible. It was supposed to be much more effective against those creatures, but time and again I found myself returning to the shotgun. The tricorder is a nice new touch, but I can't help but think it's added in only as a plot device, much like the laser mic in Splinter Cell.

I liked the tricorder, and the overall clean feel of the original game seems to be still there. It's enough to make me buy.

I hope that blue-headed one grows some balls, his pants pissing was so stupid in the first one...

haha, I showed the original to an uncle of mine once, he spent like an hour killing Janeway over and over again. Funny as hell.

I would like to see this one be *longer* than the first one. It felt like I was in an episode of voyager the first time around...

Yeah, I really hate Voyager so much that I cannot get into the game. But, I did kill Janeway also. Spent lots of time killing Janeway, with many different weapons. And then, I went into the weapons locker and killed the guy in there. I killed the people in that room too.

That is what I really would do in Voyager.

It was annoying, though, that even if you had god mode on and noclipping, the moment you started shooting Janeway the entire crew stormed you. Even if you were holed up in between decks, in a Jeffries tube, or anything...

It wasnt so bad when the crew would storm you...I could mow them down with ease...it's just that after a few seconds the game would end and you'd be in the brig.
