I would never consider cheating on my partner. The one who loses the most is the one who cheats.

This is a loaded question. Everyone says they wouldn't even consider it, yet after a major fight or some such thing, statistics show that about every other person would and has. Given the right (well, wrong) circumstances, I probably would.

Statistics based on polls taken in womens' magazines? How accurate do you really think those are?

After 10 years of marriage, I'll say the same thing I said on day one. I won't cheat. And we don't have major fights either; if we disagree about something, we discuss it. If I started berating her about something, she would just feel bad, and then I would feel bad.

I know for a fact that my parents have never cheated on each other, even after 38 years of marriage. They've had a few arguments but neither has ever gone off to be with someone else.

Well it wasn't actually a poll, it was under the results of TheSpark.com's purity test. Not exactly a reliable source, I know, but still good enough for a ballpark figure (the exact figure was 47% said they had cheated I believe).
After 10 years of marriage, I'll say the same thing I said on day one. I won't cheat. And we don't have major fights either; if we disagree about something, we discuss it. If I started berating her about something, she would just feel bad, and then I would feel bad.
Yes, but you're lucky enough to have ended up with someone you're highly compatible with, and therefore not representative of most people. My parents were a bad match, and my dad cheated while he was in France shortly before I was born because he was pissed off about circumstances I won't bore everyone with. When my mom left him last year, I would bet a thousand bucks that she had cheated with her new boyfriend near the end of the relationship. I don't hate either of them for it, and can't honestly say I wouldn't have done the same.

Would I like to think I would never cheat under any circumstances? Of course! And I honestly would never cheat in a good relationship like the one you apparently have with your wife, even after a big fight or series of them. But those are ideal circumstances, and to assume that I will end up in a relationship as good as yours (or even good, period) is pretty optimistic.

Self-selected samples are assumed to be unrepresentative unless there's sufficient reason to believe them to be representative.

TheSpark.com's survey is a self-selected sample.

I'd never cheat, simple as that, the odds of another person finding me attractive are too small.
