Fifteen Long Island players, two coaches suspended
Okay, I understand where some of these are a little reckless considering parents are expecting the coaches to be looking out for their children on these trips. I also agree that they should probably lose their coaching jobs but I think that people seem a little overly upset about this. I'm sure these kids have seen people drink before, and who cares if they want to spend their money going to strip clubs or hiring strippers?

Same here. Just think of the extra motivation to go to state if you knew there was going to be a trip to a strip club afterwards.

Regardless, unless the kids were all 18 or older, the coach was wrong to do it. He effectively undermines the parents' authority to raise their children however they wish. It's the same reason why teachers aren't allowed to proselytize to students.Tsyroc wrote:Same here. It says in the article it was a parent that took them off to the strip club....Durandal wrote:Regardless, unless the kids were all 18 or older, the coach was wrong to do it.
