Unemployed, again.
Well, my temp job working level one phone support came to an end today. I can't complain, I learned a lot and it lasted for 8 1/2 weeks. Which beats the original estimate of 4-6 weeks. Hopefully, something will show up soon, its still a terrible job market. Anyone else looking for work?

I'm looking myself, but I'm hunting something a little more permanent. I've had three interviews so far, and so far only one rejection. There's still two more offers I made that haven't been answered yet.

I'm sorry to hear that Trailer Park
however, given my innate work place "Paranoia" one could understand why I went for a unionized service position in the first place, my hours my drop below survival levels some times, but I can't be laid off at my level of seniority. Now if I could just have something to retire on...

No Unions in IT. But I dont blame you for joining one. I used to be very harsh on unions and still dont embrace them. But my view on them has softened after getting laid off with 2 weeks pay. The company was tanking I dont blame them for laying me off. But a package would have been nice, and a union would have probably made that more likely. The Yosemite Bear wrote:I'm sorry to hear that Trailer Park

Whats really offending is the non-functioning managers who were dead weight get packages, and the line employees that make things happens get 2 weeks.
