Post by Enforcer Talen »

anyone know the song with the chorus

shout
shout
let it all out
these are the things we can do without
come on.

its been running through my head for some yrs, and I must have it. it was made in the 80s, somewhat techno sound.

I know it's on a mix of Limp Bizkit's Rollin'. It has Disturbed, Cypress Hill, Crazytown and Linkin Park.

That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Tears for Fears; Songs from the Big Chair (1985); Shout

Shout
Shout
Let it all out
These are the things I can do without
Come on
I'm talking to you
Come on

In violent times
You shouldn't have to sell your soul
In black and white
They really really ought to know
Those one track minds
That took you for a working boy
Kiss them goodbye
You shouldn't have to jump for joy

They gave you life
And in return you gave them Hell
As cold as I ice
I hope we live to tell the tale.

And when you've taken down your guard
If I could change your mind
I'd really love you break your heart

More 80's lyrics.

'All You Zombies' by the Hooters:

Holy Moses met the Pharaoh
Yeah, he tried to set him straight
Looked him in the eye, "let my people go"

Holy Moses on the mountain
High above the golden calf
Went to get the Ten Commandments
He's just gonna break them in half

All you zombies hide your faces
All you people in the street
All you sittin' in high places
The pieces gonna fall on you

No one ever spoke to Noah
They all laughed at him instead
Working on his ark, working all by himself

Only Noah saw it coming
Forty days and forty nights
Took his sons and daughters with him
Yeah they were the Israelites

All you zombies hide your faces
All you people in the street
All you sittin' in high places
The rain's gonna fall on you

Holy Father, what's the matter
Where have all your children gone
Sitting in the dark, living all by themselves
You don't have to hide anymore

All you zombies show your faces...
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

Ah, Tears for Fears, good songs. Eurythmics, Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet were all cool too.

Tears for Fears was awesome. I always liked their song "Change" (IIRC).

And that guy from the Hooters? Eric something or other? he's a big song writer guy, written a ton of hits for other people. A good picker too.

I'm offended I didn't make the list. I might get that cut in spite now.
