I may or may not be able to shed light on the registering and not posting phenomenon, because I registered when the theme was changed away from Millenium Falcon so I could set it in my preferences and if my memory serves me right I still lurked for a few weeks after that.

Hell, I may have only signed up a couple of weeks ago, but I've been lurking since last September... :oops:

EDIT: my main restriction at first was that I didnt feel I could contribute to debates or be much use, so it was just easier to read and observe... glad I signed up now, turns out I can contribute, and enjoy doing so... :)

I was here before my time as a user called Muad'Dib. I changed my e-mail addy and tried to update it. However this was after Wong stopped takign registrations from Hotmail accounts and my NTL accound didn't support ASP script in the e-mails so it came up blank in my mail box there.
