Yeah, I noticed that in the Sky & Telescope Stargazer's Almanac a few days ago.

I wonder if Warner Brothers purposefully timed the release of The Matrix Reloaded to coincide with the eclipse...

The 16th is my B-Day. Why does this unsettle me?????

Don't let it bother you. Contrary to what the astrologers say, a lunar eclipse is not an omen of anything (unless you want it to be, in which case it's just a case of applied psychology). It only has significance if you give it significance.

I just found it kind of funny that The Matrix Reloaded is coming out on the same day. I guess they're trying to play on people's fears, intentionally or unintentionally.

Cool. I've yet to see a total lunar eclipse for various reasons but I should be able to see thing one easily.

Heh, reminds me of the Dog Soldiers release. The cinema and DVD release dates all coincided with full moons.

Don't worry about it. My birthday is the 15th and I should have all of my "dark" business done (bills to pay and all that) by your birthday so the eclipse will no longer be necessary.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
