Silly question about "The Matrix"...
I hope this hasn't been done before ...
Here we go : it is fairly obvious than there are Christians in the Matrix ...
Since they didn't got their sacraments "for real" ( weren't blessed with real holy water, didn't eat real hosts, etc ), do you think they would be sent to Hell ?
I know, it's a stOOpid question... but I had to ask

First off, don't automatically rag on Christians because they happen to be Christians. I think it's highly insulting.
Second, no they probably wouldn't, because they were being lied to.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

Neo: What truth?
Boy: There is no Hell.
Neo: There is no Hell?
Boy: Then you'll see, that it is not the Hell that bends, it is only yourself."
Works for me.
Wouldn't the time of the Matrix be equivalent of the rule by the Anti-Christ?
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

"The Wire" is the best show in the history of television. Watch it today.

The problem is that the whole thing is a simulation, and the people in it have no idea that the "real" world is just a simulation. So I don't see any reason why the people would be damned...
