With that kind of attitude it's no wonder.

Probably I wouldn't be noticed, but that's OK.

Actually, with your cheerful avatar and your name from that Niven book, I've found you pretty noticeable.

I'd like to think if I vanished there'd be great weeping and gnashing of teeth. The women would wail, Darth Wong would rediscover religion solely to pray for my safety, the Mecha Maniacs and HAB would combine their resources to search the globe for me, Dalton would begin a donut fast and Durandal wouldn't style his hair until I was found, and there'd be a yellow ribbon thread entirely for me in all the forums, including SOS:NBA and GALE Force.

In reality, I'd probably vanish like a fart in a high wind.

Much as in real life, I highly doubt anyone would truly notice my absence.

I am not quite sure, but I find it humorous that a majority of us are convinced that no one would notice. A lot of people who have said so, would be noticed by at least me. Do we, as a board, have such low self esteem? Or just low expectations?

It could be low expectations, but for some of us it's relatively true. Me for instance

It's not an entirely bad thing though, meaning that it could be an indication that you are good at going unnoticed, which could come in handy if you want to steal...or something.... :P

Low self-esteem, plus it's probably true that my absence would not be noticed.

I so do not need that image right now...

And who wouldn't if Zaia disappeared? She's one of the most prominent members on the board.

Bah, but it should be noticed that I indicated that I would go unnoticed, yet you failed to notice that part of my post.

There are 3-4 people who Ive noticed tend to respond to stuff I post. I think they might notice, but the board as a whole probably would not.

Well anyway, perhaps you would go unnoticed. In fact, it seems pretty likely. Not to be mean or anything.

I think that only about two or three people would notice my disappearance and even than it would have to be after a few months.
