Seconded.
And who wouldn't if Zaia disappeared? She's one of the most prominent members on the board.
Not really. I only post in a couple forums, so quite a few people probably have no idea who I am. Plus there really would be some people who would be glad; I'm not just saying that.

And besides, Zaia and the other females of this board are the cosmic counterbalance to the opposing testosterone, made up by the male members.

Of course, if you look at it the number of males making up the testosterone is far greater than the number of females making up the estrogen of the board, meaning that each male contributes a far less amount of testosterone to the board, in contrast to the enormous amount of estrogenish presence each of the females must emanate in order to counter the force of testosterone and do it in equal amount too. This could imply that the total amount of testosterone force in each male must be very, very small, which could come to explain how some of us have very little success with ladies while Zaia and Kelly can swoon the entire board with a word.

Well, anyway...

Ahh, Shin, I think if I was one of the guys of the board, I might take offense to that speech about your implication of my impotence. :P

Ok, I'm ending this shitty day now. To bed with me. G'night, all.

I just tried it. While I was in China for work, a couple of people did notice my absence. I thank them for their perception and their concern.

1. It goes without saying that my absence wouldn't be noticed. Small wonder-unless one habitually checks who's lurking it's hard to tell if I'm here anyway.
2. Whoever doesn't notice Zaia missing doesn't deserve to be here. End of discussion.
3. Actually, Knife brings up an interesting point: Some people would be missed (or at least, their absence would be noticed) merely because their avatar/sig pic doesn't show up anymore.
For example, Gandalf, I would notice your absence because I've gotten used to seing your disgustingly youthful visage around (no offense intended).
There are others who would or would not be noticed depending on the topics discussed: a week of gun debates without Shep piping up would damn well get people's attention unless he's announced his prolonged absence beforehand.
Same with Mike and fundies. Not that Mike's absence wouldn't be noted otherwise. Which brings us to the people who would be missed because they're around the whole bloody time (I swear I have no clue how you people do it, but please keep it up).
4. I'm pretty sure I misspelled 'absence' every time I used it.
5. Anybody who could've read this before I proofread this would agree I need more sleep.
6. This concludes todays rant from your resident flying rodent. Good morning, and have a nice week.

Non taken. If it's any help I'm about 18 months older than I am in that pic.

While I can hope that the good people here would notice should I disappear from this board, I doubt that I've made enough of an impression for anybody to have more than a passing notice of the occurance... Oh well...

I origially thought not myself, but I went away for a week and got PMd with concern. Felt good, really.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.
