Well its one way to show your seniority on SD.net,maybe there should be some title that go with it like Imperial Commander or something else.

The Rebel symbol is quite good but the Imperial one is unrecognizable. Empire's own fault for choosing such complex insignia.

If one absolutely has to have Imperial insignia, why not use the rank squares assigned to Imperial officers? They'd look pretty good on a 12x12 GIF file.

Real quick. That would be awesome to have the Imperial Rank insignia's seeing how this is a proImperial board. With the exception of Phongh of course. Maybe someone could make him up the rebel badge. Heh.

Second, man you guys are a bunch of fucking whiners. Mike went to all of this trouble to help add a little pizzaz for us and all you can do is bitch and moan. I personally like the touch, think they look good, (especially with my green Avatar, heh. green/gold alma mata baby) and kind of throw a nod to people who have been here on the boards.

Third, special treatment for being signed up on the first day eh? So how many of you were posting on that early POS board? Yeah, uh huh. not many I assume.

It goes by MDY, not just month. If you joined Nov. 20, you get one star on Feb 20, and a second on May 20. If you joined on Jan 20, you get one star on April 20.

I see, 1700+ posts is now 'low'. Where you guys get time and energy to make 10-20 posts a day is beyond me.

EDIT: I just hope this doesnt lead to spamming threads where people gleefully announce they've gained a new star.
