I got as far as this:
Even so, phaser energy seems to have the ability to actually disintegrate matter itself, something Star Wars lasers clearly cannot do..

I would point out one thing. CONSERVATION OF ENERGY YOU FUCKING MORONS. MATTER CANNOT BE DESTROYED.

If they are taking about the disintegration setting on the phaser/disruptor then show them a screen cap of the ISD in Hoth's astroid field.

It's not an in-depth article from people who know a lot about either genre, it's just for fun. Their website isn't that bad, just take it with a grain of salt.
I believe this website was the one that got me interested in the SW vs ST debate in the first place, actually.
