- Most songs by Savage Garden, especially "Crash and Burn," "Hold Me," "Truly Madly Deeply," "To the Moon and Back," and "Two Beds and a Coffee Machine."

- Dido's "Thankyou"

- Bryan Adams' "Everything I Do"

- Believe it or not, I do listen to pop ~ 98 Degrees' "I Do"

No such music exists.
I'm sorry to hear that..

In any case, "A Sorta Fairytale" by Tori Amos (either album or extended version).

Well for personal associations there are two songs that can instantly depress me ("I Heard it through the Grapevine"-Because it was what was playing when I got "Dear Johned") and make me LoL in appropreatly ("White Wedding"-Because of my attempts to get it playied during my little sister's reception. yes, little sister was seven months preggers at the time.)

Damn I need that film on DVD.

Blue from Cowboy Bebop by Yoko Kanno, Elysium from Gladiator by Hans Zimmer and Aeris' theme from FFVII by Nobuo Uematsu are also brilliant at getting emotions going.

Notable mention goes to Sting's "Shape of my Heart".
I just watched Gattaca recently. Quite a moving scene there, I will admit.

Also from Hans Zimmer: the first part of Hummel Gets The Rockets from The Rock, Carnage from Tears of the Sun, The "sad/heroic" theme for Christian Slater from Broken Arrow, and December 7 from Pearl Harbor.

From Final Fantasy/Square in general: Sad theme from Secret of Mana, Awakening from Final Fantasy VI, Sending a Dream Into the Universe and Despair (Rocket Town theme) from Final Fantasy VII, and Eyes on Me from Final Fantasy VIII.

And, of course, some from John Williams: The Death of Yoda and Light of the Force (listen to the SE Soundtrack) from Return of the Jedi, Anakin is Leaving from The Phantom Menace, Anakin's Mother dies from Attack of the Clones, Binary Sunset from A New Hope, A Tree for my Bed from Jurassic Park, Thomas is Killed and Parish Church Aflame from The Patriot, and Somewhere in my Memory from Home Alone.

Additionally, a very moving piece (though not a tearjerker I suppose) is Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful, for those who didn't know) by Mark Isham from the movie Rules of Engagement.

Damn, left that one out.

And I suppose it's not by Hans Zimmer, but Track 11 (can't think of name at the moment) on the Black Hawk Down OST is a tearjerker as well. As is Still.

Afro Blue - John Coltrane live at Birdland :
This Tune is just so amazingly beautiful and powerful. It's intensity builds so much and does not come down for a moment until the very end. The motion in the tune has near brought me to tears with it's beauty.

You should. They have a couple variations of Leave No Man Behind that I really wish I had on a CD or MP3 file somewhere.

EDIT: Oh, and I just remembered. Adagia (spi?) for Strings from Platoon. I'm reasonably sure it wasn't custom made for it, but it's where I first heard it from.

I almost forgot! "Sound the Bugle" by Bryan Adams. :)

James Taylor's Sweet Baby James
There is a young cowboy he lives on the range
His horse and his cattle are his only companions
He works in the saddle and he sleeps in the canyons
Waiting for Summer, his pastures to change

And as the moon rises he sits by his fire
Thinking about women and glasses of beer
And closing his eyes as the doggies retire
He sings out a song which is soft but it's clear
As if maybe someone could hear

(Chorus)
Goodnight you moonlight ladies
Rockabye sweet baby James
Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose
Won't you let me go down in my dreams
And rockabye sweet baby James

Now the first of December was covered with snow
And so was the turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston
Lord, the Berkshires seemed dream-like on account of that frosting
With ten miles behind me and ten thousand more to go

There's a song that they sing when they take to the highway
A song that they sing when they take to the sea
A song that they sing of their home in the sky
Maybe you can believe it if it helps you to sleep
But singing works just fine for me

- Chorus -

I writing an email to my friend Derek in Massachussetts this morning, and the song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls was on. Given what I was replying to, and the previous conversation that we were having, I'm going to think of my friend Derek every time I hear that song. As hard as it is for meto cry, I was on the verge of tears when I was listening to that song.

My Will, the first ending theme to Inuyasha.

At first, it sounds only cool.

But listen to it while reading the lyrics.
