...but you did make two good points.

1. It's not the top 100 Danielle SteelMuch death...so much death would be involved

2. It is about faves.

And yeah I did enjoy Potter(hey I still read comics...but for a reason few would fathom...not always about enjoyment....god I hate Jemas)...it's just seeing all four seemed excessive.

I've read 20 of the books, have seen movies for several more. Out of the ones I've read, Gone With the Wind has to be the most boring thing I have ever read in my entire life.

Well, what will you say when I tell you that Nora Roberts is the poison I choose? Danielle can kiss my ass, but Nora can fondle it: I love her stuff.

I haven't read that one, but my vote for most boring would have to be The Grapes of Wrath. There's only so many HUNDREDS OF PAGES OF DESCRIPTION OF DUST that I can take, y'know?

Moby Dick was one of the most boring.. Although, I am surprised neither that, nor The Scarlet Letter nor Heart of Darkness nor Farewell to Arms is up there..

[EDIT] Grapes of Wrath = boring. Remind me never to read 270 pages of that book in one day again.

Yeah, there were a lot not on there that I figured would be. Plus a lot of modern writers I've never heard of.

Hey, I've never read The Hobbit and the only LotR book I've read is most of The Fellowship.

Of these books that I've read, I have to say that I adore:

1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 17, 20, 21, 23, and 33. Numbers 8 & 9 are probably my two favourite books of all time. There are a couple of my personal faves that I'm sad are missing, like The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Circle of Friends by Maeve Binchy (ahh, the story of my life).

Oh, and I couldn't stand/were bored to tears by:

14, 15, 22, 24, 30 and 34. Sorry if any of you love them to bits.

I'm glad to see LOTR and The Hobbit there, no real surprise, but I'd be annoyed if it wasn't.
