Per CNN. They're saying it was the law school, Fox news is saying it was a mail room. More details on the way.

Rest assured, they say it wasn't evil scary international terrorists.

If it were the work of professional terrorists, they're even lamer than I thought. This is on the level of lighting fires in garbage cans.

Actually, this sort of thing sounds more like radical anti-war protesting during the Vietnam War. More than a few times radical activists would blow up buildings that were empty, and they would mostly target things like ROTC buildings and the like.

Has it acutally been confirmed that this was a bomb and not say a gas leak?

But, what reason would they have do something like that now? I'd go with Sea Skimmer and say it was a gas leak or something until further developments.irishmick79 wrote:Actually, this sort of thing sounds more like radical anti-war protesting during the Vietnam War. And yes, he was a quiet dissocial loser.
And no, it wasn't caused by the Accutane he was on (I'm on Accutane, and I have no jihadist impulses).

Which would be a horrific commentary of just how "free" our society has become. As far as motives are concerned, it could very well simply be anti-Bushism relating to the war on Iraq. He did graduate from Yale, after all.
It's one thing to protest and another to be pumped full of ridiculous ideas about "limited" criminal action. Jesus Christ. One should only take opposition so far.
