Load. While Re-Load and The Black Album had their good songs, there wasn't much redeeming about Load.

I wasnt overly fussed with either Load or Reload....though of the two Reload is the slightly better of the two.

Load had "Mama Said," which is one of my favorite Metallica songs.

Anyone know what the album coming out next month is called? Wonder how much DRM it'll have on it ...

The only GOOD ones are Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, And Justice for all, and Kill 'EM All.

Oh im sorry, I forgot that Napster fans didnt mind the fact that their favorite band would sell them out in a heartbeat if it meant an extra nickel.

Minus a few interesting songs, it would probably be Load or Reload as the worst. Hard to choose between the two. Metallica has slowly slipped from "thrash" to hard rock ever since Justice and the last several efforts sound mediocre.

To be fair, I rarely listen to Metallica. When it comes to thrash metal, I prefer Skyclad and Sodom.

ReLoad is worst by far. Even though "Devils Dance" is on it, the extreme crappiness of "Fuel" kills everything in the vicinity.

Load had "Until it sleeps", "hero of the day" and "bleeding me" on it, which i have a small taste for.

I'd go with Reload. I still like some of it but it's a big drop off from Load .

I'm also not too fond of S&M beyond a few songs. It's just cheezy.

S&M rocked!!! Of course I love big symphony music with lots of brass and S&M had it combined with Metallica so it doesn't get much better......maybe Rage Against the Machine but that would be it.
