Neal Pert - "Rush" Only drummer whos mid-concert solo was better than entire music festivals I've attended, hes incredible.

Nick Mason - "Pink Floyd" Just goes along with my serious love for all things Floyd.

Well, typically drummer has the connotation of just being an instrumentalist, whereas percussion has the connotation of being a true musician.

Yeah, I have about 80 or so DMB concerts on CD...some of the stuff he does gets really amazing.

And then, of course, there are those of us who are ultimate musicians and can play EVVVVVVVVVVVVERYTHING but just focus on percussion because it's the most fun.

Not just because it's most fun! Because no matter how much other instruments don't want to admit it, the drums rule the house any day.

Btw, I actually give more credit to guys like Warren "Baby" Dodds (invented the jazz ride pattern and moved it to the cymbal instead of the snare) and guys like Papa Joe Jones and Chick Webb for the development of the modern hihat. I think those were some of the real underlayers of modern drumming.

Assuming you have triplets every 9 months, that works out to 12 babies every 4 years, or about 500 years to have all his kids, unless my math is off. May I suggest waiting till they can grow babies to maturity in the lab or perfect an immortality treatment?
