You don't knwo the opprotuinity you're passing up horatio. just take a gander at the Beware the Gnomes thread. You'll soon see there are many advantages to being a SEGNOR member (living after the great Revolution for one...).

You're assuming, of course, that the revolution succeeds. It's my opinion that the mages will win--or a neutral 3rd party will swoop in to finish both groups off.

BMs, well, we got some bad blood. But me and Cyran, well we're trying to handle things. Nitram ain't making it easy, but we're managing a peace. As for a 3rd party - I'll wait until I see it before I get worried.
