Lithium is not an anti-depressant, it's a mood stabilizer.

You're not manic-depressive, you simply have a chemical imbalance!

Yeah.. I have to get blood tests monthly at first to check my thyroid and kidneys, and after that I forget how often.. but we'll worry about that then. At least the place I'm getting it done at, the nurse doesn't make it hurt! :D And you guys would think she's hot, too. ;)

Ugh... needles, cant cope with needles... standard injury I can cope with, my blood out of my body as a natural result of injury, I can cope with, surgery I can cope with. Doctors sticking needles in my arm and putting anything in or out, and I'm on the point of fainting, I'm with you on this one Verilion, blood stays in arm thank you very much.

Had a recurring kidney infection a while back, if it happens again, they haul my ass of to hospital and put a radioactive tracer in my blood stream, I think the reason I got better from that infection was because the rest of me was too worried about the tracer injection to be doing with real illnes.

Hope this depressive thing sorts itself out, I'm sure it will. But on a lighter note, stay away from water and acid, for your own safety ;)

I dont like the ones I was on. first off, they made me really, really, high. my net name became talen-kite. I dont remember any of my convos, but people tell me I was very odd.

it also made me smile, hours on end, as I walked through the halls.

>_<

Anti-depressants = FECKING EVIL. End of story. I was on 10 mg of Celexa once, and it made me smile no-stop. Not being a natural smiler, it made me feel kinda weird...

Hello, nurse! 8)

FOr what it's worth ver, a friend of mine in HS was prescribed lithium, and it really changed his life for the better. It took awhile to get the dosage right, and yeah, a lot of it sucked for him (blood tests, friends that weren't really friends after all), but overall his life improved since he could devote his energy to things other than his emotional state.

From one emotionally volatile maniac to another, cheers, and I'm sending some good juju your way in the form of happy thoughts :)
