I apologize for my words about the Agents in Matrix Reloaded

Hi everyone, I came out of the theatre ranting and raving about how dissappointed I was about the Agents in Matrix Reloaded, said they had turned into startrek red shirts,

I have had a week to think about it, and I have changed my mind, someone put it in light for me the other night,

Lets compare Matrix agents to Matrix Reloaded Agents

MATRIX
Smith handles Morph in the bathroom, struggles to keep hands on his neck, smith slowly pushes them away

MATRIX RELOADED
Agents dent thick steel door, ,and rip the top of a car off with one hand, we've never seen any sort of strength like this from morph

MATRIX
Smith is schooled by a single hand effort by Neo, who is standing still

MATRIX RELOADED
Three 'upgraded' agents last several minutes against Neo, where they may not have been killed but just retreated, considering we didn't hear them 'fizzle' or flash of light when they die. So they might have retreated,

Agent smith (No longer part of the matrix, and no longer part of the upgraded program) takes hundreds of them to fight Neo, and they are over paced easily, Neo didn't show that sort of 'over whelming' speed vs the first 3 agents.

MATRIX
Trinity runs from Agent, she jumps through window and survives

MATRIX RELOADED
Trinity stays and fights, starts to lose, decides to run, she is chased and killed

SOMETHING TO ADD :
Morph should have died 3 or 4 times on the truck, only character shields saved him from turning into a pancake under the truck wheels, he was beaten, he even had a sword and still lost

Daniel Bernhardt .... Agent Johnson
David Kilde .... Agent Jackson (as David A. Kilde)
Matt McColm .... Agent Thompson (If i am not mistaken, this is the "new" Smith)

Agent Johnson was the one who was at the front of the group when they first confronted Neo and was also the one who fought Morpheus on top of the semi, IIRC (Daniel Bernhardt's the only actor I was previously familiar with, so he stuck out to me). So he'd be the new "Agent Smith", if you mean that he seems to be the most prominent of the group.

I just saw the matrix reloaded again tonight,

he is sub par to other agents

Smith was only able to keep up with Neo through sheer numbers when they fough. In a one on one fight as of Reloaded, Neo would win.

The agents, even considering it was three held up better than a lot of Smith clones.

Yeah, i meant that he seems to be the prominent figure, as Smith was with his previous companions.

Anyway, how can you explain the 1 om 1 duel between Smith and neo in the Revolutions trailer? Perhaps Smith absorbed all the Agents and gained all their abilities and became uber......

See the Revelutions trailer. It appears Neo/Smith fight may be quite close.

Perhaps the original Smith, now being free, can exceed the normal boundaries which still confines the "normal" Agents.

AFAIK, other than for special cases, they can't apply the same speed for bullet dodging to hand-to-hand.

AFAIK, other than for special cases, they can't apply the same speed for bullet dodging to hand-to-hand.

How would it be?, wouldn't the agent program just see it as something coming at it fast?

Perhaps you can explain how the hell Smith became that uber in just a few hours in Revolutions, I mean one Smith took on Neo and it seemed like a pretty close fight. Any realistic explainations?

Maybe a hundred of them fused together and...... nah!

Maybe he assimilated all the Agents?

Maybe you should wait until the fucking movie comes out in November before you attempt to evaluate anything from it, especially when all you have now is less than a minute of footage from a bloody TEASER TRAILER...

Ok, explain to me how the hell can a single Smith clone (or maybe it was Boss Smith) take on Neo for even a minute?
