My theory is that the hacker(s) managed to jack a mod's session_id - I do not have extensive experience with using them to hack a board (or indeed any in terms of hacking), so I am not sure if it would grant specific permissions to an existing account or log the hacker onto the mod's account. I'm guessing the former, but as I said this is not my area of expertise and I could very well be wrong. I wrote down a list of all members who either joined very recently or had a low post count, though there were 8 hidden users on at the time.

The mods on at the time were:

Frank
Keevan
Kelly
phong
SS
Storm
Stravo
and Ando

Another note, I took this screen right after the last (?) post edit attack which was a couple minutes before the board was taken down.

The attacks were in Announcements, OSF, OT, A&P, Gaming, and HoS - implying that it would have to have been a supermod's priveleges that were jacked.

Starcrossed and Perversions were one of the first to go among many. Thank god I hadn't posted a new chapter in a few days.
