Tits: Chichi

Raises intresting commentary in DBZ, I'm sure.

As good as your sig-pic is, it has to be 100x500 pixels, IIRC.

Tits: Chichi

Raises intresting commentary in DBZ, I'm sure.
I remember hearing about how everyone in DB and DBZ was named after a food, except for one woman being named after breasts.

Piccolo and his gang were named after musical instruments. Bulma and her kids are named after undergarments (Bulma = Bloomers, then there's Trunks and Bra).

That would be Bulma.

Chichi is the token daughter of a god that the alien hero gets to bang.

There are quite a few words with dual meanings. Koi means love or carp, for example.

Heh. I only figured some of those out on my last trip to Thailand -- I laughed aloud the first time I saw a Nissan Cefiro.

Alot of the names in NGE are naval. Ikari means anchor, Sohryu was an Imperial Japanese warship, etc.

Soryu, Ayanami, Akagi, Katsuragi, Aoba, Ibuki, and Hyuuga were all names of Japanese ships in WWII. In addition, "Langley" (Asuka's middle name) was an American ship, and "Rokubungi" (Gendo's maiden(?) name) is a sextant or possibly some other sort of navigational device.
Don't hate; appreciate!

But Rei was named after a sponsor of the show. But she withdrew support, so the NGE crew started to screw with her more...

I can't wait until some people who don't know Japanese try pronouncing that :P

There are rumours that they wanted the VA for Hino Rei (of SM) to join up with the NGE cast, but she declined. Incidentially, they VA for Misato is also the one for Usagi Tsukino.

According to the first Evangelion manga, Shinji was so named because it means "mind", Misato was the name of one of Anno's friends, and Ritsuko came from an anime that Anno liked.

I also like Osamu Tezuka's names. Rock, Duke Red, Skunk, Lamp, Mr. Mustachio (Kensuke Ban), Atlas, Rococo.
