He took me to the store, a little family-run establishment on Saturday (May 31), because it needed sized. As we waited we walked around the street, a restored downtown with brick sidewalks and bookstores and coffeeshops, holding hands and acting like lovestruck fools :)

When the ring was ready, he slid it on my finger and said "This is a promise and a reminder of what we both know... our love is forever" (Ok, maybe not in those exact words, but it's close!)
