I don't have a problem with GL's directing. But he either needs to find a competent writer for EpIII or take a class or something.
Funny though. My choice for director would be Peter Jackson.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Didn't Francis Ford Coppola once attempt to make a sci-fi movie - resulting in the somewhat mediocre Supernova??weemadando wrote:I want to see Francis Ford Coppola remaking them.

Quentin Tarantino, any one? John Travolta? Just kidding...
If I wanted to do it seriously I wouldn't be going for any big names. Try to bring in some people who appreciate the source material and who show alot of talent for directing. Definitely would go for young up and comers.....

Actually, George Lucas got the ideas for the plot from Kurosawa. (I think all he did was to take "The Hidden Fortress" and make a sci-fi version of it)neoolong wrote:I wonder what Kurosawa would have done with the movies.

I know. I'm wondering what Kurosawa would have done with a sci-fi version of a movie he had already done.Simon H.Johansen wrote:Actually, George Lucas got the ideas for the plot from Kurosawa.
