Does anyone know why a website looks worse at one resolution then another?my website screws up at 800x600 resolution and I'm out of ideas.

Typically a person who makes the website has not properly planned for all resolutions. You should try and target at least 800x600 resolution as a minimum, which you seem to have not done.

yeah...it displays well at a higher resolution...do Yahoo, MSN and all these other companies do something to make their website display better, maybe like a script or something similar?

Dynamic resizing with scripts = evil. Target your website to display best at 800x600, rather than at a higher resolution.
