Evil places around your residence

Post by fgalkin »

Do you live near a place that can be considered evil. Things like Microsoft offices, Fundie churches, etc.

Myself, I take the Q train over the Manhattan Bridge to get to school. Those of you that live in NYC, know that the JW headquarters (THE Watchtower) are located next to it. Every day, I see it, looking into the windows of the building as the train passes it. I don't think it gets more evil than that.

So, do you live anywhere near a place of similar evilness?

Have a very nice day.

I live in DC...Microsoft offices have nothing on me.

Do I have to specify a place or just call it all evil?

Well, NYC is pretty evil, too (the offices of all the big corporations are located here). I was refering to something particularly evil, such as my example of JW hq.

Have a very nice day.

I live in West Boca. I am within walking distance of a Kingdom Hall. This whole town is evil. All the heads of the corporations (the lying, scamming, greedy, corporate bastards) live here. I even go to school with some kids of those families (or at least I went, I graduated High School on Friday mwahahahaha).

I'm fairly certain there's a drug/raver house across the block, given that the people there listen to shitty techno, keep fucked-up hours(similar to mine, actually) and the house is co-owned by about 7000 seniors and high school dropouts.

Tijuana. It may not be "Evil" per se, more like "Better make sure you have money for a bribe for the Mexican cops."

Oh, and Mexican Prisions. There are only 2 types of Mexican Prisions, those with broken toliets and those with a whole in the ground. Both have Jose, who is only 5'0, but he's friends with Paco ( 5'11) and Juan (6'4")
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Berkeley is about 45-60 minutes to the north of me, same with San Francisco.
A lot of people here probably consider those places to be evil in a liberal sort of way. :)

There's a Church of Scientology about 25 minutes from where I live. I'd say that's pretty evil.

Queen Bitch of the World lives in the house across the street from me. It's a little too close for comfort (she practically runs a Catholic elementary school and a Catholic high school [called Catholic High School]). I say I know evil. I don't think she is religious, but she practically runs everything in my church parish.

Hey, I know his dad. I could drop by for a visit. Then kinda casually say, "So where's that raver house you told us about? Just out of curiousity, you know".

As for evil, there's an elementary school across the street from me. Those little bastards cut across my front yard every afternoon and sometimes I catch them out back. The little ragamuffins need to learn that the SIDEWALK is for walking and the LAWN is for staying off of. Preferably with booby traps.

There is a "Christian Science Reading Room" downtown... I'm tempted to walk in and see what the place actually is... the windows are tinted.
