I've been searching and have found some books. But I wanted a second opinion on some 'must have' books relating to their history.

Hell, even Age of Empires II has neat little tidbits of info. Most general history books have a section on the Mongols. I can't think of any particular book, thought. Just don't learn from Hercules vs. the Mongols
