Shit..No more Down

Post by Rye »

From here

According to that site, down is pretty much over and done with, with phil and down members now aiming at superjoint ritual, coupled with the suckiness of not doing anything with pantera again for a while..

Yeah i spoke with Raymond at the E3 last year about it and he told me that there is basically no chance that dino will be back in the band. I wonder who is going to replace Dino. How the hell do you do that?

christian olde wolbers originally played guitar, and he took over the guitar riffs as he knew them from being with the band, as for a new bassist i dunno. As for the set up for the songs, well burton's doing that i think, see self bias resistor for songs that he sets up.

EDIT: i just realised..i need to emphasise christian played it as an instrument, not in fear factory originally.

if christian is playing guitar it shouldn't be to hard to find another bassist.

Fuck. I wish it were SoaD. I like them, but Down's just about my favorite band nowadays. Maybe now I can have a reason to be beautifully depressed.

PS: I am under an incredibly higher amount of frustration than I am letting on.

Oh, what the hell:  :x :x     :finger: :finger: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :finger: :finger:     :x :? :x :x :x :finger:

Well it didn't really say he/they were completely through with Down...

Still, it only pisses me off worse that I didn't go see them when they played at Ozzfest 2002.

*Groan* another nail into the coffin of an absolutely horrible week for me. My 3-day old bed's left-corner wheel breaks on me, i lose my wallet (found), and I burn myself in a stove mishap. *sigh* I just Kazaa'ed and burned Nola's tracks, the other day, too. :(
