Ahem, but why in the hell would McDonalds care? It's not like they aren't a multi-billion dollar corporation with stores across the globe? Can anyone say frivolous lawsuit? I'd understand if someone stole their "recipe" or used their logo without expressed permission, but suing someone because they said their food tasted bad is just plain idiotic.
You better not say that. They might sue you too.Col. I think it's because the critic is rather well-known among food circles so he has more influence than the average Joe.Crazy Goji wrote:Ahem, but why in the hell would McDonalds care? Still, a man has no right to voice his opinions? What kind of world are we living in?neoolong wrote:I think it's because the critic is rather well-known among food circles so he has more influence than the average Joe.Crazy Goji wrote:Ahem, but why in the hell would McDonalds care? Still, the guy has probably said the food in hundreds of restaurants was crap. He's paid to make judgements like that. McDick's is just being stupid. I agree with the 'why do they care' standpoint. When asked about it, all they have to do is point to their sign that says billions and billions served.

Well as in UK health & safety inspections a few years back, significant particles of crap were found in Macdonald's burgers (to the point where the instructions now give the minimum tempreture required to kill e-coli), the food actually is partly shit.

Macdonalds were specifically getting things like the large intestine to cut costs. It's not really malpractice on the part of the slaughter house...

I heard that they buy their meat at auctions (sp?) and that they go for the low grade. I also heard that the meat is soy. Will we ever know the truth, thank you for watching unsolved mysteriesZoink wrote:Does McDonalds slaughter their own beef? People who eat at McDonalds typically do not listen to food critics.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Way to destroy your entire case their, you think they could buy better lawyers."The fries that are said to taste of paper are thrown away within five minutes of being cooked if they have not been served and the oil is changed regularly."
