I don't think any Harry Potter fans appreciated Gollums acceptance speech.

The show was pretty good, and less annoying than most MTV stuff these days. Yoda and Gollum were great, as was Harrison Ford. The only parts which truly pissed me off were Eminem's retarded "I got mail" speech and that annoying little brat from The Ring winning "Best Villain" over much more deserving nominees.

Eminem's performance dealing with his drunken slut mom was much more demanding than Viggo running around smiting orcs. Sorry.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

Did our favorite socially compared CGI creations slash the shit out of M&M? That would also get them the award of "Greastest service to humanity in the past year"

Who were the other nominees?
Daniel Day Louis-Butcher, Gangs of New York
Willem Dafoe-Green Goblin, Spider-man
Colin Ferrell-Bullseye, Daredevil
Mike Myers-Dr. Evil, Austin Powers

I didn't really care for Myers getting the award, since he was just playing a comedic role and wasn't a true villain. But there is just no way in hell some little preteen girl should beat Willem Dafoe, and certainly not Daniel Day Louis. All she did in that movie was sound creepy without actually doing anything until the last few minutes (which was stupid).

actually Myers was nominated for his performance as Goldmember, not Dr. Evil.

Daniel Day-Louis should have won that.

But I think Gollum won the audience over. :D Those guys at Weta are fantastic!

The movie awards are on again tonight at about 7:30 U.S. eastern time if anyone missed yodas acceptance speech, watch it then

(Unfortunatly i'll be driving back to my moms house with my dad, was the best fight award given out at the very beginning of the show?)
And this is why you don't watch anything produced by Ronald D. Moore after he had his brain surgically removed and replaced with a bag of elephant semen.-Gramzamber, on why Caprica sucks

I'd have to say, DDL should have won that, he was so cool. He made me want to go and find other Irish folk and go start a crime ring.

"Long live your Queen... Latifa."

And damned if GL didn't look like a proud father out in the audience. His daughters were there with him.
