A time traveller accidently kills Janeway before she takes command of Voyager.
She uses futuretech to turn herself into a near-perfect copy, and takes her place ... however, since she skipped the exact details of Voyager's epic trip, she doesn't do exactly what Janeway did ...
How could Voyager be decanonized?

It turns out that half of the stories on Voyager were covers for Janeway and the others going nuts as a side effect of the Caretaker array, and going on bloody pirating rampages and stuff. (Refered to as Insaneway when she's nuts)
i.e
The Equinox episode's are really a cover for the Equinox hearing about Voyager, thinking it's a rescue ship and heading towards them. Insaneway see's them, thinks it's a rescue, and in her insanity, doesn't want to go home at the moment, and orders the Equinox destroyed.
Turns out there is no Species 8472 or fludic space. They just found a wormhole. Since Insaneway had accidently killed Kes in a sick game, they kidnapped Seven of Nine from a scout cube that the blew up, then had her memories altereted. Kes never re-appears later in the series, that was just insane-way in a more creative mood
Turns out that whole "Polaric explosion" episode was a cover for Voyager attacking that world for spare parts
The Voth really did happen, but they didn't do the nice thing and just send Voyager home in a droid ship with transwarp because Insane-way was so rude to them. They added in the Dinosaur thing out of boredom.
Turns out, Insaneway didn't come back from the future, the Albative Armor Generators and Transphasic Torpedoes are something they found on a destroyed World near borg-space

That explains it so much better then anyway else. It's a half-baked attempt to cover up the real situation, and starfleet is over-looking it because of all the nice things Voyager looted and brough back

Many of you have complained about Voyager's horrible quality and how it shouldn't even be considered canon. Well, the powers that be at Paramount have decided to de-canonize Voyager. In fact, they have decided that the show should have the same standing to Star Trek as Highlander 2: The Quickening has to its storyline. It just never happened, people!
So, in short, Voyager never happened and the last thing that should be considered canon is Deep Space 9.

Of course Enterprise happened before DS9 so . . .
::shotgun goes off, ending Neelix's speech and the sound of a body hitting the floor is heard. Seven more shotgun blasts are heard with sounds of bodies dropping between shots and pumps::
