Tonight's Spooks

Post by Admiral Valdemar »

Given the topic of the episode tonight, does anyone believe we may see in the near future such extremist Islamic suicide bombers in the UK or US even?

One has to wonder just how deep the network goes when in other nations such occurances happen every week near enough.

Why not? We've already had 9/11. I'm surprised we haven't seen more. Considering the size of the U.S. and how easy it is to get a hold of complete weapons or components for weapons of considerable damage and carnage AND given the U.S.'s relative lax internal security.. yup. Damn surprised more hasn't happened.

Well, I'm only up to the third episode (which is on on Friday down here), but I love this series already.

And the "Pro-life" bombing group episode was great.

Ah, the first series is finally going international.

I hear US viewers will see the first series followed by the second at the end of summer/start of autumn. It'll be called MI5, not Spooks though. Apparently the CIA has a monopoly on the name spooks there.

Naw, spooks is shared by a bunch of other shady organizations here in the U.S. It's just that when WE think of British Intelligence and such we think JAMES BOND!
